Scientific Area: Cell and Molecular Biology, Physiology
Requirements for admission: should be holders of a BSc or MSc or PhD degree in Biochemistry, Cell or Molecular Biology or related areas.
Factors preferred: Candidates with strong skills in cell culture and some knowledge of microscopy and physiology will be favoured; they should have an interest in learning/ establishing innovative techniques and enjoy working in an international stimulating research environment.
Work plan: Work will consist in research in testing response to novel drugs in intestinal and respiratory organoids from patients’ materials. The successful candidate will work in an international dynamic and enthusiastic team aiming to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying the genetic disease Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and the search for novel therapeutic compounds.
