BioISI researcher Ana Margarida Fortes is part of the team of the recently funded European project “Vine and Wine Innovation through Scientific Exchange (vWISE)”, coordinated by the University of Bordeaux.

The vWISE project focuses on addressing the impact of climate change on vineyards, grapes and wines, which poses a considerable threat to the wine industry in Europe, with profound social and economic consequences.

This is the second project H2020 MSCA-RISE – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange – in which BioISI participates, promoting the mobility of researchers with different expertise between partners from different economic sectors. vWISE is a consortium of 13 institutions from France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Argentina, Australia, Chile and South Africa.
